Welcome to Shortee’s!

Journey through illness

Shortee’s is a par 3 pitch-and-putt course. We are located at the corner of 96th Street and Westfield Blvd., just south of I-465. The facility houses a netted driving range, an 18 hole pitch and putt golf course, and a 9 hole foot golf course.  All of the holes on the course are between 50 and 100 yards.  Whether you are a beginner to the game, or an experienced golfer looking to improve your game, Shortee’s is the perfect place to come for a round of golf!

The Mindset Behind a Perfect Swing

At ShorTees Golf, we believe golf is far more than a game — it’s a quiet discipline, a test of patience, and a mirror of how you approach life itself. Each swing tells a story about control, rhythm, and confidence. Whether you’re sinking a tricky putt or adjusting your stance on a breezy afternoon, golf teaches one timeless lesson: that mastery doesn’t come from power alone — it comes from balance, awareness, and precision.

Golf is one of the few sports that rewards stillness. You can’t rush a backswing or force a putt. Instead, you breathe, align, and visualize. Every movement on the course is intentional, every shot an experiment in self-control. That’s why ShorTees Golf emphasizes the mental side of the game as much as the mechanics — we help players of all levels develop a calm, repeatable swing that feels effortless, not forced.

The beauty of golf lies in its rhythm. From the drive to the green, you learn to measure distance, predict terrain, and manage pressure — often in front of a watching crowd or under a setting sun. The quiet focus you practice on the course reflects how you handle challenges off it: patience in adversity, composure in uncertainty, and precision under pressure.

Golf and the Art of Strategy

Every golfer knows that success depends not on luck but on smart choices. You read the slope, account for the wind, and commit to your club selection. It’s the same mindset found in other strategy-driven pursuits — where observation, timing, and risk management make all the difference. In Southeast Asia, for example, the same principles of timing and patience are valued in online entertainment, where platforms like qqmamibet attract players who appreciate analysis and calculated moves over chance. Golfers will find this mindset familiar: it’s all about staying calm, reading the situation, and striking when the time is right.

Both golf and games of precision teach that consistency beats impulse. The best golfers don’t chase the perfect shot — they build it, stroke by stroke, round after round. Likewise, anyone who enjoys strategic recreation knows the satisfaction of small improvements, reading outcomes, and refining technique. These shared lessons remind us that discipline, not luck, leads to progress — whether you’re walking the fairway or testing your patience elsewhere.

Training the Mind as Much as the Body

Great golfers often say the sport is played on a five-inch course — the space between your ears. That’s why our coaching programs at ShorTees Golf focus on mental clarity just as much as physical mechanics. Learning to let go of frustration, maintain concentration through distractions, and keep emotions steady is part of what makes golf so rewarding. When your mindset aligns with your motion, the ball naturally follows your intent.

The mental framework you develop here extends to daily life. Golfers often find themselves better at handling stress, improving focus at work, and managing time wisely. The patience to line up a 10-foot putt in silence mirrors the discipline needed to make thoughtful choices outside the course. And when things don’t go perfectly — as they rarely do — the fairway teaches humility and recovery: shake it off, take another shot, and keep moving forward.

Community, Connection, and Joy

Golf has always been a sport of connection — between people, places, and moments. At ShorTees Golf, we see it as an opportunity to meet others who share the same passion for growth and calm focus. The course becomes more than a playing field; it’s a retreat from noise, a space to think clearly and reconnect with yourself. That’s why we welcome players of all ages — from beginners learning their first grip to experienced golfers refining their short game — and provide an environment where everyone feels part of something special.

So next time you step up to the tee, remember: golf is not about how far you can hit the ball, but how well you understand the moment before the swing. The calm, patience, and precision that define a great golfer also define a great thinker. That’s what we call the ShorTees way — where every swing teaches something new about the game, and about yourself.

How to Improve Your Short Game in Golf

The short game makes up the majority of your score. In this article, we’ll cover essential tips to improve putting, chipping, and approach shots.

1. Warm-up Drills

Spend at least 10 minutes on the putting green before your round. Focus on short putts inside 6 feet to build confidence.

2. Chipping Accuracy

Select a landing spot and choose a club based on trajectory. Practice landing the ball on the same spot repeatedly.

3. Distance Control in Putting

Try the “ladder drill”: place tees every 3 feet and putt the ball to stop at each tee without going past.
